A real drive, not a chat window

TeleNest organises your Telegram cloud like Google Drive or MEGA — folders, search, previews and background transfers — while the files themselves stay in your own Telegram account.

Drive-style folders

Grid and list views, folders inside folders to any depth, a 24-colour folder palette, live file counts and sizes — and you can pin a folder straight to your home screen.

Big files, no problem

Everything uploads in original, uncompressed quality. Files larger than Telegram's 2 GB per-message limit are split into chunks on upload and merged back on download, automatically.

Secure Vault encryption

Sensitive folders are encrypted on your phone — AES-256-GCM / XChaCha20 with Argon2 key derivation — before anything leaves the device, and unlock with your fingerprint or face.

Background transfers & auto-backup

A foreground transfer service keeps multi-file uploads and downloads running with byte-accurate progress, and chosen folders like DCIM/Camera can back up new photos automatically.

Built-in viewers

Stream videos, zoom into photos, and read PDFs and text or code files without leaving the app. Filter any view by photos, videos, audio, documents or apps.

11 languages

English, বাংলা (Bengali), हिन्दी, اردو, العربية, 中文, Español, Français, Português, Русский and Deutsch — switch any time in Settings → Language.

Install in about a minute

TeleNest is distributed as a direct APK download. There are no accounts to create with TeleNest itself — you sign in with the Telegram account you already have.

1

Download the APK

Tap the download button on this page. The file TeleNest-v2.8.0.apk (50.8 MB) comes straight from GitHub Releases.

2

Allow & install

Open the downloaded file. Android will ask permission to install apps from your browser — allow it, then tap Install.

3

Sign in with Telegram

Enter your phone number, the login code Telegram sends you, and your 2FA password if you use one. Your files appear as a drive — that's it.

How it works: the app embeds Telegram's official TDLib engine, so sign-in and every file transfer happen directly between your phone and Telegram's servers. Files live in your Saved Messages and private channels that TeleNest organises for you. Your phone → TDLib (on-device) → Telegram cloud — no server in the middle

Questions

Is TeleNest really free and unlimited?+
Yes. The app is free and open source, and there is no storage cap inside TeleNest — your files use Telegram's cloud storage, which doesn't charge per gigabyte. The only per-file limit is Telegram's own: 2 GB per message (4 GB with Telegram Premium), and TeleNest automatically splits anything larger.
Do I need a Telegram account?+
Yes — an active Telegram account is required, because your files are stored in your own Telegram cloud (Saved Messages and private channels TeleNest manages for you). You sign in inside the app with your phone number and the code Telegram sends, exactly like signing in to Telegram itself.
Where do my files actually go?+
Directly from your phone to Telegram's servers, using Telegram's official TDLib engine built into the app. There is no TeleNest server, bot or middleman, and your credentials and encryption keys never leave your device. One consequence to know: if you delete your Telegram account, or manually delete the underlying messages in the Telegram app, those files disappear from TeleNest too.
Why isn't it on the Play Store?+
TeleNest is distributed directly by its developer as an APK from GitHub Releases — the same file you download here. Android will ask you to allow installing from your browser the first time; that's the standard prompt for any app installed outside the Play Store. You can verify the file with the SHA-256 checksum in the release details above.
How do updates work?+
TeleNest has a built-in update checker (Settings → About Application → Check for Updates) connected to GitHub Releases. When a new version is published, the app shows the changelog with a one-tap APK download — or you can always come back to this page and grab the latest version.
Can Telegram rate-limit big uploads?+
Uploading or moving hundreds of files at once can trigger Telegram's temporary FLOOD_WAIT rate limits. TeleNest handles this by queuing requests in order and continuing when Telegram allows, so transfers finish — they may just pause briefly.
